Current setup

As of the latest update, Italian Wine Data uses Vercel Web Analytics to measure traffic and visited pages in aggregate form and records selected minimised functional events in Supabase, such as comparisons, calculator use, product-specification openings and clicks to external services. No advertising or profiling tools are currently integrated.

The site and its infrastructure providers may also use technologies that are strictly necessary for security, load balancing, technical operation and correct page delivery.

Technical cookies

Cookies and tools that are strictly necessary for providing the service do not require prior consent, without prejudice to the requirement to provide clear information about their use.

Analytics, advertising and affiliate services

Vercel Web Analytics is used exclusively for statistics and service improvement and, according to the provider's documentation, does not use third-party cookies. The project's Supabase analytics archive does not use cookies or persistent identifiers and does not store IP addresses, accounts or free-text searches in the application archive. Raw events are retained for up to 13 months.

Before any introduction of advertising, profiling, persistent identifiers, affiliate technologies involving tracking, or other tools requiring consent, this policy and the relevant preference-management mechanism will be updated.

Browser controls

Users can also manage or delete cookies through their browser settings. Disabling technically necessary tools may impair some site functionality.
